In an interesting Group B game, Australia will face Namibia at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua on June 11. While the Aussies will be looking to qualify for the Super 8 stage, Namibia will essentially be fighting for survival.

Australia are currently placed second in Group B of the 2024 T20 World Cup, having won both their games so far in the tournament. Namibia on the other hand, beat Oman but were trashed by Scotland and subsequently stumbled to third place.

Having said that, with the tournament seeing upsets almost every single day now, Namibia cannot be taken for granted. Hence, Australia will have to stay vigilant and play quality cricket on June 11.

The Australia-Namibia group game is scheduled at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium situated in Antigua City of West Indies. It’s a decent pitch where an equal contest of bat and ball is expected to play out.

Australia will clash with Namibia at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua at 8.30 PM local time. However, the weather prediction in the city during the night is not very promising.

84% precipitation is forecasted around 8.00 PM local time, which could delay the start of play. While the rain is expected to ease out after an hour, the interruptions could resume around 10.00 PM local time, and the downpour is expected to continue for another hour.

Temperature during night will stay at 33° celsius with a significant cloud cover hovering around the stadium throughout the game. Hence, by the early look of it, a smooth conduct of the game is unlikely.

Australia and Namibia will have to carefully replan their strategies and battle adverse weather conditions to get a favourable result in the game.
