The Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is set to kick off with an exciting first match at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium on August 29.

Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, a new entrant replacing the Jamaica Tallawahs, will debut against St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. Led by Jamaican star Brandon King, the Falcons are eager to make a strong impression in their inaugural match.

On the other side, the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, led by Evin Lewis, are looking to bounce back from a disappointing last season where they finished at the bottom of the points table.

Despite their struggles, the Patriots have a formidable lineup featuring players like Rilee Rossouw, Tristan Stubbs, Sherfane Rutherford, and Odean Smith. The team will be keen to replicate their 2021 championship-winning form.
