The stage is set for the series finale as India and South Africa will collide in the 5th T20I at the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad. The fourth T20I in Lucknow was abandoned due to excessive smog, and India currently leads the series, 2-1, with a game still to be played and the South Africans having a chance for a comeback.
Shubman Gill has been ruled out of the final T20I due to an injury and this leaves a void at the top as the Men in Blue will aim to capture the series in Ahmedabad. Ahead of the contest, we take a look at what transpired at the toss and the team changes made by the sides.

South Africa won the toss and Aiden Markram had no hesitation in electing to bowl first on a surface that might get better as the match progresses. South Africa have made one key change - George Linde comes in for Anrich Nortje.
For India, Shubman Gill is out and Sanju Samson replaces him at the top. Also, Jasprit Bumrah, who was unavailable due to personal reason is back in the playing XI. Also, Washington Sundar has replaced Kuldeep Yadav.

Who holds the advantage after the toss
South Africa will bat second and will hold a slight advantage as dew is expected to play a huge role in the chase. The batting conditions will get easier and the spinners will find it tough to grip the ball.
