To qualify, they must win this game and hope that Pretoria beats Cape Town in the preceding match, which would take the Yellow Army to 17 points at least, occupying the fourth spot.

Durban's Super Giants

After last year's disappointment of being unable to make it to the playoffs, Durban became the first team this season to make it through, and all credit must go to the newly appointed skipper, Keshav Maharaj, who has done a wonderful job.

DSG are in an outstanding frame of mind with the Qualifier 1 spot confirmed as every player is giving their best on the field. Without any doubt, their superstar this season has been Heinrich Klassen, whose out-of-this-world power hitting has earned plaudits from all quarters.

While batting looks solid, bowling has not stayed far behind, with Maharaj himself leading the charge with his left-arm spin. They would want to continue the momentum after their previous win against Pretoria Capitals by eight runs, where Matthew Breetzke took on the opposition right from the start.
