SA vs AUS: Captain's Quotes

Pat Cummins (Australia Captain): We would have batted first as well. But it's pretty gloomy out there, so hopefully, some swing on offer. They play with a similar style as ours. They have won the last few games but I guess it's time. We have been in these positions before and have finished on the other side. But we have a good amount of experience. We weren’t at our best in the first couple of games. We adjusted really well. The guys have been positive. We have two changes. Stoinis and Seany Abbott miss out and Maxwell and Starcy (Starc) come in."

Temba Bavuma (South Africa Captain): "We are batting first. The weather did come into consideration, but those are the factors you can't take on the full. We are up against a team like Australia in the semi-final. We have to be good enough. I am not 100% fit, but yeah, got to go. I haven't dreamt of this moment. It means a lot to me to lead South Africa in the semi-finals. A lot of people back home in South Africa and also our supporters are backing us. There is a game in our hands to focus on now, needing to stay in the present. We need to stick to our basics and processes. We have got one change. Tabraiz Shamsi comes in for Lungi Ngidi."
