The IPL 2025 is all set to resume after 10 day break. The first match after resumption was expected to be a blockbuster between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and the Kolkata Knight Riders at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
However, as it stands currently it raining in Bengaluru currently and the toss for the 58th match of the tournament has been delayed. The fans and the supporters of the two teams will naturally question - What is the cut-off time for a full 20 overs game to take place?
As per the rules of a IPL, a full 40 overs game is expected to end by 10:56 PM IST. An additional 60 minutes is added in case of rain interruptions to get the game done. However, in general we start losing overs after 8:45 PM IST. So, if play does not start by 8:30 PM today, one can expect that we will have a reduced game, whenever the match starts.
