The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to resume after one week's suspension. The first match after resumption will take place between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru up against Kolkata Knight Riders at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The game holds utmost importance in the context of the playoffs.

Bengaluru Weather Today: RCB Vs KKR toss delayed

If RCB wins, they will automatically qualify for the playoffs and will also reach the top of the points table. However, if KKR win, the team will still be in a good position to qualify for the next round. However, apart from the two sides, the weather in Bengaluru will also decide the fate of the match.

The weather in Bengaluru is not looking good and it is raining at the moment and as a result, the toss has been delayed. As per Accuweather, there were rain predictions for evening and it came true as relentless rain has forced the toss to be delayed.

Puddles formed at the square region and even though the Chinnaswamy Stadium has the best drainage system, it can only work if the rain stops, which looks highly unlikely.

Bad news for RCB?

If the rain hampers the contest and the game gets washed out, then RCB will have 17 points from 12 matches and even though they will go top of the table, their qualification won't be sealed.

They would have to win one out of their next two matches to qualify for the playoffs. As far as KKR are concerned, they will get knocked out if the match gets abandoned.
