SRH will be hosting GT at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad later today in their penultimate league fixture of the IPL 2024 season. While GT have nothing to lose, SRH will be fighting to retain their playoff spot. However, the weather will test the hosts and could play spoilsport in a high voltage contest.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) were the team to beat in the first half of the IPL 2024 season, with their batting unit setting a new bar in league cricket. Scoring 200 runs became an everyday routine for SRH before their dream run was interrupted.

While SRH is seated in fourth place in the points table, the upcoming game against GT will be a must-win to ensure SRH qualifies without having to depend on anyone.

On the other hand, GT has already been eliminated from the playoff race after their previous game against KKR, which was washed out in Ahmedabad due to incessant rains. Hence, they have nothing to lose. But they will aim to spoil SRH’s party on their way out.
