In the 2nd match of SA20 2025 between Durban's Super Giants and Pretoria Capitals at the Kingsmead Stadium, rain has played a spoil sport. Overcast conditions were there when the match started as the Giants, batting first, put 61 runs on the board without a loss in five overs before the rain poured in. 

It is not a heavy drizzle, but the groundsmen have covered the pitch. At the time of writing this article, the officials are out on the ground, inspecting the situation and it is safe to say that the match will resume quickly. 

Parsons And Breetzke Take On The Capitals

The Super Giants have gone all guns blazing in their first match of SA20 2025 as Bryce Parsons and Matthew Breetzke have stitched a 61-runs stand for the first wicket. A total of 10 shots have been hit so far, with eight fours and two sixes. 

The rain break is essential for the Capitals as they would look to regroup and rethink their plans and how they will go once the rain ends and play resume at the Kingsmead stadium.
