The home team, Durban Super Giants have won an important toss in the second match of SA20 2025 against Pretoria Capitals, and have decided to bat first on a good batting deck at Durban. The home team skipper called it right and Kane Williamson, the star Kiwi batter is making his debut. They have left out JJ Smuts though, an experienced cricketer while Pretoria Capitals are without the likes of Wayne Parnell and Anrich Nortje.

Both teams have world-class cricketers in their arsenal and Durban would be hoping to post a strong total on the board. They have good blend of experience and young talent in their squad and it would be interesting to see where Kane Williamson bats with Matthew Breetzke and Quinton de Kock likely to open. They have the likes of Heinrich Klaasen and Wiaan Mulder in the middle order too and have the depth in the bowling attack as well.

Pretoria Capitals, on the other hand have power-packed unit too. Gurbaz and Will Jacks will open the batting while there are strong middle order batters as well. Their bowling though is light on international experience and it would be interesting to see how they go about their business against Giants batter.
