The Mumbai Indians and the Gujarat Titans are facing off in an important clash at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. As per the latest update, rain has hit the game and the match has been interrupted.

Mumbai Indians batted first in the game and despite struggles managed to reach 155/8 at the end of the 20 overs. The Titans needed 156 runs to win the game and climb up the ladder in the points table.

Trent Boult have a shock to the Titans with an early wicket of Sai Sudhrasan in the second over of the innings. The Titans lost another wicket and Sherfane Rutherford along with Shubman Gill were taking the team towards the win.
It was at this stage that rain interrupted the game. Gujarat Titans had 107 runs on the board for the loss of two wickets after 14 overs. The DLS par score at this stage was 99. So, if rain does not stop and game does not start again, the Mumbai Indians will lose the match by eight runs.

Given the position of the match, the Titans will win the match and have 16 points under their belt after 11 matches. They will climb to the top of the points table.
On the other hand, the Mumbai Indians will lose momentum in their progress. They will have 14 points after 12 games. If match does not start again, then Mumbai Indians will have to win both of their remaining matches to stay alive in the race.
