In the 48th match of the IPL 2024 between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI), LSG skipper KL Rahul won the toss and opted to bowl first at Ekana Stadium, Lucknow.

Talking about the changes, LSG brings Mayank Yadav, Naveen-ul-Haq along with 2 debutants Arshin Kulkarni and Ashton Turner, replacing Quinton de Kock, Yash Thakur, Amit Mishra, Matt Henry, while MI makes one change, with Gerald Coetzee for Luke Wood.

KL Rahul (Lucknow Super Giants Captain): "We will bowl first. The wicket looks good and we want to put their batters under pressure and chase it. We want to stay as balanced as possible, put on a show here."

Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians Captain): "It's fine. We would have liked to bowl first as well. It looks a bit on the slower side and we will see how it behaves.
