In the ongoing BBL 2024-25 match between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Stars, both teams are in search of their first win of the season. The Heat won the toss and opted to field first. The decision proved to be good as they restricted the Stars to 162/6 after 20 overs.

Keeper Sam Harper was the top-scorer with the bat as he amassed 46 (36), which featured four fours and a solitary six. Xavier Bartlett was the star with the ball as he took a three-wicket haul to stun the Marcus Stoinis-led side. Bartlett registered figures of 3/25 in his four overs.
