Here’s the timeline of how PAK A vs OMAN panned out in Al Amerat:
PAK A vs OMAN Highlights: Muzahir Strikes Early But Omar, Qasim Rectify Faltering Start
Muzahir Raza struck early for Oman by getting rid of both Pakistan A opening batters, Mohammad Haris and Yasir Khan, in a space of just three deliveries of the third over of the match. Overcoming Raza’s (2-29) new ball threat, Pakistan A middle-order stars Omair Yousuf and Qasim Akram rectified opening failure by sharing 72 runs together for the third wicket.
Yousuf pumped out 25 runs off 21 balls with three boundaries from his end before he was caught-and-bowled by Sufyan Mehmood (1-20) in the 11th over. Qasim Akram smeared two boundaries and three sixes in his blistering 38-ball 48 to take Pakistan A past the 100-run mark. He was eventually knocked over by Samay Shrivastav (1-18 from four overs) in the backend of the innings.

Karan Sonavale also made his way back to the sheds for just five, courtesy of a sharp catch from Abdul Samad as Oman slipped to 52-3 at the halfway stage of their daunting pursuit.
PAK A vs OMAN Highlights: Zaman Khan And Co. Ensure Big Win For PAK A
Wasim Ali at number four rescued Oman’s faltering innings with a 40-run partnership with wicketkeeper-batter Hammad Mirza (14 off 21). Wasim ended up top-scoring for his team with a cautious 28 to take them to the brink of the 100-run mark.
However, late wickets from Zaman Khan (2-17), Shahnawaz Dahani (1-13) and Mohammad Imran (1-29) collectively kept Oman down to 111-7 as Pakistan A secured a huge NRR boosting 74-run win.
