In another high-profile match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, Delhi Capitals (DC) outmuscled Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at their home in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru by 6 wickets. On the back of KL Rahul's 93*, Capitals achieved the target in 17.5 overs.

Batting first, Challengers posted 163 on the board on the back of opener Phil Salt (37) and Tim David (37*) while Vipraj Nigam and Kuldeep Yadav spun a web with two wickets apiece where they gave away just 18 and 17 runs in their respective four overs.

Despite all that, Mumbai's Suryakumar Yadav is fifth with 199 runs as all others remain untouched as well with Nicholas Pooran still at the top with 288 runs at an average of 72 and a healthy strike rate of 225.

IPL 2025 Purple Cap List

Just like the orange cap charts, the players on the purple cap list remain unaffected with no change in standings after last match. Noor Ahmad wears the purple cap with 11 wickets in five games while averaging 13.63 where his economy rate is 8.33.

Additionally, players on 2nd to 5th position are all having 10 wickets each as they only differ by average and economy rate. Moreover, the likes of Mitchell Starc and Shardul Thakur are jointly sixth and seventh with 9 wickets to their name.
