In what turned out to be a spectacle at the iconic Wankhede Stadium, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) defeated Mumbai Indians (MI) by 12 runs. The stars of the show were skipper Rajat Patidar, Virat Kohli, and Jitesh Sharma with the bat.

Batting first, RCB amassed 221 with a loss of just five wickets, where Kohli's 67, Patidar's 64, and Jitesh's 19-ball 40-run not out cameo helped them put a massive total on the board. In return, Mumbai got as far as 209, where Tilak Verma's 56 and Hardik Pandya's 15-ball 42 helped them get closer to the total, but they eventually fell short by 12 runs.

After game 20, Nicholas Pooran is still ahead at number one with 201 runs after four matches, whereas Suryakumar Yadav, who played a 28-run knock from 26 deliveries, is just two runs away from Pooran after reaching as close to him with 199 runs in five game. Sai Sudharsan, who was at second position earlier, is now third, while Mitchell Marsh and Jos Buttler follow them.

And on the Purple cap charts, Noor Ahmad is at the top with 10 wickets, jointly sharing the top-wicket chart with Hardik Pandya, the Mumbai Indians skipper, who also has 10 wickets after picking up two in the just concluded clash.

However, on the basis of average and economy rate, Noor is ahead of Pandya on both parameters, where he averages 11.80 while his economy is 7.86, whereas Pandya's average and economy are 12.00 and 8.57, respectively after four matches each.

DC's Mitchell Starc has nine wickets, while Gujarat's Mohammad Siraj is fourth with nine wickets as well. At number five is Sai Kishore who shares eight wickets with Khaleel Ahmed and Josh Hazlewood.
