In another classical performance, Delhi Capitals knocked over Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. The Capitals won the game comfortably by eight wickets, where Mukesh Kumar, Abishek Porel, and KL Rahul starred.

Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants were able to get 159 after the end of the 20 overs, where Aiden Markram (52), Mitchell Marsh (45), and Ayush Badoni (36) helped them get to this total, which looked severely under par. As in reply, Delhi chased the score down comfortably with 13 deliveries and eight wickets to spare, where Porel (51), KL Rahul (57*), and Axar Patel (34*) helped them finish the game with ease in the 18th over.

GT's Jos Buttler is third, while Mitchell Marsh, who opened the innings for Lucknow and scored 45 off 36 deliveries, has moved up to fourth position with 344 runs in eight games. Whereas Mumbai Indians' Suryakumar Yadav is fifth with 333 runs.

On the purple cap chart, Prasidh Krishna is ahead of everyone with 16 wickets in eight matches, at an average of 14.12 and economy of 7.29, while his bowling partner, left arm spinner Sai Kishore, is joint second with 12 wickets in eight matches. DC's Kuldeep Yadav, who failed to pick a wicket in this encounter, is also joint-second alongside Noor Ahmad and Josh Hazlewood with 12 wickets apiece.
