Bangladesh bulldozed Ireland in the third T20I to clinch the three-match T20I series by a 2-1 margin. Senior fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman and wily leg-spinner Rishad Hossain came to the fore on the big day by picking up clinical three-wicket hauls to skittle Ireland.

Here, we take a look at the entire highlights of the third T20I of the three-match series between Bangladesh and Ireland, as it panned out at the Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Chattogram on Tuesday, December 2.

Mustafizur Rahman, Rishad Hossain restrict Ireland to just 117

After losing the toss, Bangladesh bowlers jolted the entire Irish batting line-up, restricting the visitors to just 117 all out. Senior fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman picked up three wickets in the innings at an expense of 11 runs, which included the prized scalps of Harry Tector and Mark Adair. Leg-spinner Rishad Hossain also dismissed Curtis Campher, captain Paul Stirling and Gareth Delany all in quick succession to bag figures of 3-21.

Shoriful Islam also picked up two wickets, while Mahedi Hasan delivered a tight spell of 1-24. For Ireland, captain Stirling top-scored with a swift 27-ball 38 at the top. Barring his opening partner Tim Tector (17), George Dockrell (19) and Gareth Delany (10), no other batter managed to breach the double-digits.

Tanzid Hasan anchors Bangladesh to comprehensive win

Chasing 118, Bangladesh lost opening batter Saif Hassan (19) and captain Litton Das (7) both within the opening powerplay to reach 48-2 in six overs. Tanzid Hasan, however, ensured Bangladesh suffered no additional casualty as the elegant opener shared an unbroken 73-run partnership with Parvez Hossain Emon for the third wicket.

While Tanzid notched up a half-century with 55* off 36 balls, Emon made 33* off 26 as Bangladesh overhauled the Irish total in just 13.4 overs with eight wickets remaining to clinch the series 2-1.
