Ayush Mhatre stunned one-and-all by notching up a match-defining half-century against RCB in Bengaluru in match number 52 of the IPL 2025 season. Opening the innings for the CSK in a tall chase of 214, the teenage batting sensation clubbed 94 runs from just 48 deliveries with nine boundaries and five huge sixes.
Mhatre, aged 17 years, even took a special liking to senior RCB fast bowler and Indian international Bhuvneshwar Kumar, as he belted the fast bowler with a 26-run over earlier in the run-chase.
