Sri Lanka and South Africa are crossing swords in the first Test of the two match series at the Kingsmead in Durban. In what turned out to be a shocking turn of events, the Sri Lankan team were folded up for just 42 runs in the first innings.

A Low-Scoring Contest
Notably, this Test between Sri Lanka and South Africa has been a low scoring one. In the first innings, South Africa were bundled out for 191 as Asitha Fernando and Lahiru Kumara accounted for six of their wickets.
In reply, when Sri Lanka walked out to bat, the Asian batters looked all at sea against the pace and bounce of the South African pacers.
