The 2022 runners-up Bengaluru Blasters got off to a poor start as they lost their first game of the season against the defending champions Gulbarga Mystics in a one-sided affair. The Mayank Agarwal-led side will be keen to bounce back and register their first win of the season in their next outing.

Keeper batter Suraj Ahuja was the only positive in the lifeless batting from the Blasters in the first game. Meanwhile, the bowlers could not do much with such a low total to defend. However, Shubhang Hegde continues to make his mark in Karnataka Cricket as he took three wickets for 25 runs in his four overs spell.
