Galle Titans started their tournament with two wins in a row but failed to sustain the winning momentum and lost their last two games. Captain Dasun Shanaka must be disappointed the way his team failed to close the game when it was in their hands.

They are coming on the back of a defeat against Colombo Strikers in their last outing in a last over thriller. The batters have been doing fine while the bowlers have been the major reason for their downfall.

The Titans are now placed second in the league standings with a healthy NRR due their 83-run win over B-Love Kandy in their last meeting earlier in the tournament. They will be hoping to repeat the same in this match against Kandy and comeback into winning ways before it's too late.

B-Love Kandy had a horrible start to their campaign as they lost their first two games, including one against Galle Titans quite convincingly. However, they found their form back on time and went on to win their next two games.

They are coming into this match on the back of a huge win over the defending champions Jaffna Kings. As a result, the Kandy based franchise are now placed fifth in the league standings with two wins out of the four games they have played so far.
