The second match on Saturday in the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL) will see Dambulla Aura take the field against Colombo Strikers at R Premadasa in Colombo. In the earlier high-scoring encounter, Aura came out on top by 10 runs over Strikers on August 5 at Pallekele.

The Kusal Mendis-led side have ticked all their boxes in the tournament so far, with every department performing. Sadeera Samarawickrama, Dhananjaya de Silva, and Kusal Perera are the main batters with other power-hitters rallying around them.

The bowling also has been quite disciplined with almost are key bowlers performing. Hasan Ali's inclusion in the playing has added more depth to the bowling, which is spearheaded by Binura Fernando.

Other than Azam, only Pathum Nissanka is holding the guard, while other batters have failed to kick on after starts. On the other hand, bowling has been top notch led by Naseem Shah and Maheeh Pathirana, who have claimed eight wickets apiece.
