India, led by the supremely confident Hardik Pandya, will attempt to level the five-match series on Saturday (August 12) by thrashing the West Indies once more. The focus will now shift from Guyana to Lauderhill.

West Indies

In the third T20I, the West Indies included Roston Chase in place of the injured Jason Holder, who won Player of the Match honors in the series opener after posting outstanding figures of 4-1-19-2. Chase did okay, conceding 28 runs in his four overs, and Alzarri Joseph provided strong assistance (2/25). 

However, the rest of their teammates failed, as Surykumar Yadav (44-ball 83) and Tilak Varma (37-ball 49*) went berserk to help India chase 160 with 13 balls in hand.

The West Indies would like to see Brandon King accelerate at the top. King scored a run-a-ball 42 in the previous fixture, which later turned out to be costly. Even Kyle Mayers has yet to put on a standout performance with the bat, while Nicholas Pooran continues to bat aggressively to trouble the scorers.

However, it is unlikely that the West Indies will alter their starting lineup unless Holder regains his fitness.

India

In the first two T20Is, the Men in Blue put on two disappointing performances in Tarouba and Guyana. None of India's batters met the high expectations that had been placed on them, barring Tilak Varma, who is probably having the time of his life.

Suryakumar Yadav, the top-ranked T20 batsman, lit up in Guyana, smashing 10 fours and four sixes in his ferocious knock, to stage a fitting counterattack. Tilak was there till the end, while Hardik Pandya (20*) hit the final blow against his counterpart Rovman Powell to put the final nail in the coffin.

India will probably use the same starting lineup. Kuldeep Yadav's 3/28 on his injury comeback was a huge boost for them, and Axar Patel and Hardik bowled beautifully to support him.

The Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground in Lauderhill has recently been a high-scoring venue, where teams batting first have scored 180 or more three times in the last four games. This shows that the ball comes to the bat here very nicely, even though things change in the second half of the game. Notably, in each of the previous five T20Is played here, the team that batted first eventually won.

Nicholas Pooran is the top scorer for the West Indies in this series with 128 runs to his name at a strike rate of 148.83. The southpaw's swashbuckling 67 off 40 balls, laced with six fours and four sixes, earned him Player of the Match honors in the second T20I.
