The 2nd youth ODI between India Under-19 and South Africa Under-19 at the Willowmoore Park in Benoni has been interrupted due to lightning. It is not often you see a cricket match halted because of thunder sounds in the vicinity. Notably, there were rain predictions, but the umpires have asked players to walk off the field for their safety.

"Oh my dear god. The players have been asked to walk off the field due to lightning. FYI, it was expected to rain in Benoni today. India U19 are 103/2 after 11 overs. They are 143 runs away from another victory and bagging this series," read CREX's update.
