It was a commendable effort from India's left-arm chinaman bowler Kuldeep Yadav who returned to the international setup with a bang, taking his side to victory while earning the player-of-the-match award.

Yadav contributed with both bat and ball scoring 40 in the first innings while claiming figures of 5/40 and 3/73 in the two respective innings to help India thump Bangladesh by a mammoth margin of 188 runs.

During the post-match presentation, Kuldeep said while it was a little pacier in the first half, however, it slowed down in the second meaning they had to try and work on that.

Further, he mentioned that in the recent past he tried on focus on his bowling rhythm along with being more aggressive with the ball.

"To be very honest, really happy with my performance (both with bat and ball). In the first innings, the wicket was a bit quicker, the bowl was coming onto the bat nicely. It slowed down in the second innings and had to work on it,

"Wrist-spinners have more reps in the ball and it becomes difficult for the batters to pick up the variation and step down the track. In the past year, I have worked on my rhythm. Have worked to be more aggressive as a bowler."

India's next match will be against Bangladesh from 22nd December at Dhaka which is going to crucial for their World Test Championship chances.
