In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Heinrich Klaasen hogged the internet as he pulled SRH out of a slump. Notably, SRH, batting first, were reduced to 35/5 after 8.3 overs and were on course of their lowest total on the board.
However, Heinrich Klaasen took the onus on his shoulders and slammed a valuable 71 (44), which featured nine fours and two sixes. Courtesy of Klaasen's knock, SRH managed to put 143 runs on the board.
Kavya Maran Dances In Joy After Klaasen's Knock
For the 2nd time in this season, Klaasen felt prey to Jasprit Bumrah, who took his only wicket of the match on the last ball of his spell. Meanwhile, as Klaasen was walking back to the pavilion, the camera panned on Kavya Maran, who gave a standing ovation to Klaasen, but was also disappointed as the South Africa star failed to provide the crucial blows in the final over.
For most of the match, Kavya was disappointed seeing her team perform. However, Klaasen's knock got the Orange army going as the fans were on their seat cheering for the South Africa star.
Eventually, Klaasen's knock helped SRH put 143 runs on the board. Further, it is worth noting that it is a do-or-die match for SRH as they are placed ninth on the table with just 2 wins in seven matches and a defeat would nearly end their IPL 2025 run.
