Kane Williamson is currently playing for Middlesex in the T20 Blast 2025, and as always, has been scoring runs consistently. However, he has also been a good fielder over the years, and now in the game against Surrey, he has shown that again at the age of 34.

Surrey batted first, and after a good opening stand, their hopes were on Jason Roy to continue the momentum. The Englishman has been in good form this season, and after just one run off three balls he decided to take his first risk.

Kane Williamson Flaunts His Speed And Fitness With Boundary-Line Catch

Luke Hollman, the leg-spinner, was the bowler, and he delivered a full delivery outside off. Jason Roy played a lofted drive, and it seemed that the ball would cross the rope over wide long off. However, Williamson stationed there had other plans.

He ran all the way towards his left, keeping his eyes on the ball and then grabbed the ball almost behind him while sliding near the boundary line. It seemed that he had lost his balance, but he managed to keep himself inside the boundary line and pulled off a stunner. The catch showed how good a fielder Kane Williamson is, and it speaks highly of his fitness as well.

The cricketer's commitment should also be credited for that catch, as he put everything on the line for his team. However, Surrey still managed to take their score to 189 with Will Jacks and Tom Curran playing quality knocks.

In reply, Middlesex could manage 181 in their 20 overs, and Kane Williamson could score 16 off 13 balls. However, overall, Williamson has done well for Middlesex this season with 333 runs in 12 innings at a strike-rate of 137.04 and an average of 30.27.
