After Sam Robson and Max Holden’s strong foundation in the opening wicket, Kane Williamson joined Holden, and there was no looking back. Riding on the momentum, he dominated the opponent bowlers and pushed the side towards a commanding total.

On his Middlesex debut, Kane Williamson smashed a maiden ton in just 147 balls, notching up his 44th first-class century, and didn't stop there. Unleashing strokes all around the park, he scored a sublime 114 off 159 balls, packed with 14 fours and a six. The elegant knock reignited the charm of classic ‘Kane Magic’ on the County stage.

Middlesex Batters Blast Total Into Orbit

Facing Northamptonshire, Middlesex couldn’t imagine a better start as the opening batters set to tone early on. Coming to open the innings, Sam Robson and Max Holden gave a dreamy start and stitched a 122-run partnership. After Robson walked away scoring 57 runs, Holden tightened his grip with Williamson.

Holden and Williamson put on a show, tearing through the opposition with a commanding 239-run stand. In the 88th over, Holden walked away playing a brilliant knock of 151 runs in 282 balls with 19 boundaries and an over-boundary. With Leus du Plooy and Cracknell on the crease, Middlesex piled up a massive total of 436/5 on the board.
