Kranti Goud Turns The Tide For Team India With Magical Spell

Batting first, India Women posted a commanding 318 on the board, and England Women were rocked early by Kranti Goud’s fiery pace. Within three overs, Kranti removed both openers on 4 and 2 runs. A promising 162-run partnership between Emma Lamb and skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt gave hope, but Shree Charani struck at a crucial moment to dismiss Lamb.

After that, Kranti dismissed Alice Richards and Charlotte Dean and registered her five-wicket haul by dismissing Lauren Filler. As the best was yet to come, she cleanly wrapped things up by taking Lauren Bell’s wicket, finishing with a sensational 6/52. Her heroics sealed a thrilling 13-run win for India Women and clinched the series by a 2-1 margin.
