The right-arm seamer surpassed Wasim Akram to become the leading wicket-taker by an Asian in SENA countries. With two wickets in the first innings, Jasprit now has 147 wickets, surpassing Akram's 146 wickets tally. Here is the complete list of Asian bowlers with the most wickets in SENA countries.

With Bumrah having the most wickets by an Asian in SENA countries, now Indian players hold the record for best performances in SENA countries in all departments. Notably, Sachin Tendulkar is the leading run-getter in SENA countries by an Asian batter with 5387 runs.
Bumrah was already the leading wicket-taker by an Indian in SENA nations, which he achieved during BGT, but now went past the Pakistani legend for this historic feat.
Jasprit Bumrah Rattles England Batters In A One-Man Show
India, batting first, put 471 runs on the board. Meanwhile, Bumrah, who opened the bowling, took just six balls to draw the first blood and sent Zak Crawley back into the pavilion to equal Akram's record.
However, Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope scripted a 122-run stand for the 2nd wicket, and the captain handed the ball to Bumrah. The right-arm seamer delivered and rattled Ben's stumps on the 3rd ball of the 29th over.
Jasprit was pumped after the wicket as he picked up the crucial wicket because Duckett was batting on 62 (94), which featured nine fours. At the time of writing this article, England are 129/32 after 31 overs.
