In the ongoing IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Gujarat Titans at the Narendra Modi Stadium, the Axar Patel-led side, batting first, put 203 runs on the board. 

Both teams struggled with the scorching heat, particularly, Ishant Sharma, who failed to complete his full quota of overs and had to be subbed off using impact player rule after bowling just three overs. 

Even before bowling his third over, Sharma had to be treated on the sidelines for possible dehydration. Ishant was exhausted and was in a miserable condition but had to bowl his 3rd over.

Ishant Sharma Exchange Few Words With Ashutosh

Ishant bowled his 3rd over in the 19th over of the match, when he also hogged the internet for exchanging words with Ashutosh Sharma. Notably, on the 5th ball of the over, Ashutosh failed to pull a shot, and Jos Buttler took the catch and appealed for a possible dismissal. However, the umpire was unmoved by the appeal, and since GT used all of their DRS, they couldn't even challenge the decision. 

However, Ishant was unhappy and even pointed a finger at Ashutosh, asking him to confess that he nicked the ball. Meanwhile, the DC batter was calm and also showed the spot exactly where the ball hit his body. Watch the incident. 

Talking about the ongoing match, GT have resumed the chase and are 14/0 after 1.3 overs.
