Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Delhi Capitals (DC) will collide in the 11th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 on April 8 at Barsapara Cricket Stadium, Guwahati.
Team Preview: Rajasthan Royals
With a win and a loss each, Rajasthan Royals are currently placed fourth on the points table. Although the Sanju Samson-led side flew high after achieving a 72-run victory in their first match of the season, a five-run defeat came in their way as they fought a close battle versus Punjab Kings.
Last season's runner-up looks well-settled on paper. However, their playing XI will be disturbed as Jos Buttler reportedly will not be available at least for a week due to a finger injury.
Buttler's unavailability could prove to be a blessing in disguise for Devdutt Padikkal, who may get to bat at his preferred position. Also, RR found a capable finisher in Dhruv Jurel, who was used as Impact Player in the game versus the Kings.
