After losing two on a trot, David Warner's Delhi Capitals will be searching for their maiden win of the season when they face Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on Saturday in Match 11 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

Already without the services of their regular skipper Rishabh Pant, things have yet to fare well for DC thus far. On top of that, one of their core members, Mitchell Marsh, has left the franchise for a week, which leaves them in trouble.

Let's now see the predicted XI of Delhi Capitals for the all-important clash against Rajasthan Royals:-

Openers

David Warner & Prithvi Shaw

Without any doubt, Warner and Shaw will open the innings for the Capitals. Despite not firing like they usually do, DC's opening duo is just one outing away from finding their beast mode. We saw in the last match how batting-friendly Guwahati is, meaning the conditions would be helpful for the dual who enjoy playing their strokes.

Middle Order Batters

Rilee Rossouw, Sarfaraz Khan, Abishek Porel, Rovman Powell & Axar Patel

Without Mitch Marsh, Delhi's middle order becomes a speck weak. However, it could allow a few batters to prove their mettle and win a match for the team. Marsh's availability enables Rossouw to bat at number 3, his favourite position in the T20 format.

Rossouw's promotion will also allow the likes of Sarfaraz, Powell and Axar Patel to get some extra time to settle in. Apart from them, DC might give the youngster Porel a chance over the experienced-pro Manish Pandey.

Porel, who smashed a couple of maximums in the last game, can start in the playing party for the upcoming fixture against Rajasthan Royals.

Bowlers

We don't see any changes in Delhi's bowling department. And why change their bowling when bowlers are doing their jobs nicely? With Kuldeep, Nortje, Khaleel and Mukesh Kumar in their arsenal - DC have all basis covered.

Impact Player Substitutes

Manish Pandey, Chetan Sakariya, Aman Hakim Khan, Lalit Yadav, Praveen Dubey.
