Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with hosts Lucknow SuperGiants at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Wednesday, May 03.

This will be the second time that these two sides' will face-off in IPL 2023.

The previous encounter proved to be a high-scoring thriller in front of a packed Chepauk Stadium, which was eventually won by the MS Dhoni-led Super Kings by 12 runs.

Both teams will come into this game on the back of defeats in their previous fixtures. While CSK have lost two in two in the past week, LSG were choked into submission at their own turf by the Royal Challengers Bangalore this past Monday.

In fact, the Super Giants have lost each of their past three home fixtures, with their batters failing to come to terms with the two-paced pitches.

So, the toss becomes a very crucial factor when it comes to LSG v CSK. Both sides will look to bat first and choke the opposition with their slow bowlers later on.
