At Ahmedabad, Mohammed Shami is breathing fire against the bottom-dweller Delhi Capitals. Against the visiting out-of-form side, the Indian speedster used his seam presentation and late swing offered off the deck to sink DC in deep waters.

Shami grasped four of the five wickets, bowling all his four overs upfront. And, the best of the lot was of Manish Pandey, whose day at the office ended with a Wriddhiman Saha blinder.

Shami dished a fuller-length delivery outside the off-stump in his third over, which swung pretty late and induced an outside edge off Pandey's blade. The keeper had a little time to go for the catch, and he dived across the first slip and snapped a one-handed stunner.

Apart from sending Pandey back to the hut, the 32-year-old seam-bowling specialist removed Philip Salt, Priyam Garg and Rilee Rossouw. Eventually, Shami ended the day with the figures of 4/11 - his best in the IPL - after Axar Patel played him out.

At the time of writing, the Capitals are crawling at 52-5 after the first ten overs. The only positive for them is in-form Axar is in the middle at his home ground; however, he is almost out of partners at the other end. And only a miracle can Delhi from here in this do-or-die fixture.
