Mohit Sharma Becomes 22nd Player to Achieve This Milestone in IPL

The seasoned veteran Mohit Sharma who returned to the Indian Premier League (IPL) this year after a two year long hiatus is making his presence felt with wickets for his team during crucial stages and infact, winning match for them in the final over once.

Now, the right-armer has achieved a remarkable milestone during the match against Delhi Capitals (DC), Sharma who bowled four overs in the game scalped two wickets for 33 runs which was his 100th wicket in IPL.

Sharma has represented Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Delhi Capitals apart from his current franchise as he won purple cap for his first team.

Mohit has featured in 92 matches where he averages 25.95 with the ball and holds economy rate of 8.37. After this, he has now become the 22nd player in the IPL to bag 100 wickets in the tournament as Dwayne Bravo tops the charts with 183 wickets.

Moreover, in this season, he has managed to effect eight dismissals from six games while holding an economy under 7.

Coming back to the match, Delhi were restricted to just 130 by the Titans' bowlers mainly Mohd Shami who recorded figures of 4/11 in his four over spell.
