The Kings have had a mixed season, as they have played ten matches with five wins and as many defeats. With 10 points and an NRR of -0.472, they are placed just above KKR in the seventh position in the table. 

PBKS Last Match in IPL 2023

PBKS played their last game against five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) in Mohali, where they suffered an embarrassing loss by six wickets.

Visiting skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field first. Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma played blitz knocks of 82* off 42 and 49* off 27 as the home side reached a massive total of 214/3 in their allotted 20 overs. Speedster Jofra Archer delivered his most expensive spell of 0/56 (4).

In reply, Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav made a mockery of the target as they slammed 75 and 66 runs, respectively. Tim David scored 19 off ten while Tilak Varma remained not out on 26 off ten as the duo finished the chase in 18.5 overs.
