They will be looking to carry on with the winning momentum and win the series, on the other side, the Australians, who are known for their comeback, will definitely eye to make things equal and level the series in the Sunday clash at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.

India Women
The Indian side gave a superb performance in the first T20I, outplaying the Australians in every department. The pace duo of Renuka Singh and young Titas Sadhu ran over the Australian top five, breaking the back of their batting early with the new ball.
Deepti Sharma and Shreyanka Patil accompanied well with their spin webs, and eventually, India bowled out Australia for a below-par total. With the bat, Shafali Verma and Smriti Mandhana were the stars in the Indian chase.
The pair had a record-breaking opening partnership of 137 runs, which sealed the game for the hosts. All in all, the Indians had a promising day in the fielding department and will be hoping to become better on the field with each passing game.
Australia Women
The Australians struggled big time, particularly with the bat inside the first six overs. There were some early movements on offer and the visitors lost four of their top five batters till the end of the powerplay.
Very much like we saw in the ODIs, the pair of Ellyse Perry and Phoebe Litchfield rose to the occasion and took Australia out of trouble. The duo proved their temperament and ability to perform under pressure once again.
Alyssa Healy must be disappointed with her bowlers as they failed to create any early opportunity which resulted in some serious hammering from the Indian openers.
Georgia Wareham was the only wicket-taker from the game, which also came when India needed just 5 runs to win. In addition, they were sloppy in the field and the dew factor only aggravated matters for the visiting side.
