After a shaky start to the tournament, the Hobart Hurricanes are finally catching up as they won three of their last four games and are very much alive in the race to the knockouts. Interestingly, all three of their wins came while batting second, including the last win over the Melbourne Renegades at Docklands.
The overseas’ batting recruits Sam Hain and Corey Anderson were the stars with the bat, taking reasonably a below-par total against the Renegades.
