The second semi-final of the ongoing ACC Emerging Asia Cup 2023 will see neighbours India A lock horns against Bangladesh A. India, who topped Group B are unbeaten in the competition, while Bangladesh, who were in Group A have two wins and one loss under their belt.
Team Preview
India A
India A are the in-form side in this competition, having won all their matches. As is the case with India's senior side, if the top-order performs, the side becomes unbeatable, and the same is the case here with Sai Sudharsan, Abhishek Sharma, and captain Yash Dhull making merry.
The batters have been well-supported by the bowlers, who have stood up from time to time, with Harshit Rana, Nishant Sindhu, and Rajvardhan Hangargekar making their impact.
Left-arm spinner Manav Suthar has been the dark horse for India, having claimed six wickets. India must not get complacent, and take their opposition lightly.
Bangladesh A
On the other hand, Bangladesh have played as a team, where the batting has revolved around Tanzid Hasan and Mahmudul Hasan Joy. Others like Zakir Khan, Soumya Sarkar, and Mohammad Naim have provided impetus in batting, playing as floaters.
Much like the batting, the bowling, too, has been all about collective effort, with as many as five players picking five wickets apiece. Tanzim Hasan Sakib has been the stand-out performer with seven wickets.

Pitch Report
All three matches here have been won by sides, who have a balanced XI, with the pitch assisting both bowlers and batters. Batting, in particular, is easy, and stroke-making is worth the grind, while as a bowler some effort is needed, but rewards will be instore.
