Ahead of the 2025 Women's World Cup, all participating teams will engage in warm-up matches. Beginning on September 25th, the warm-up matches will culminate on September 28th, following which the official matches will commence on September 30th, with co-hosts India Women and Sri Lanka Women set to face off against each other.

A total of eight warm-up matches will be played across four venues, with nine teams participating in the event. ICC Women's World Cup warm-up matches 2025: Teams and captains

A total of nine teams will be playing in the Women's World Cup warm-up matches, where, apart from the usual eight (India Women, Australia Women, England Women, New Zealand Women, South Africa Women, Bangladesh Women, Sri Lanka Women, Pakistan Women), there will be an additional India A Women side which will be captained by Minnu Mani.

ICC Women's World Cup warm-up matches 2025: Venues

A total of four venues will host the ICC Women's World Cup warm-up matches, with two venues in Bengaluru and two in Colombo, Sri Lanka. BCCI's Centre of Excellence Grounds A and B will host the matches in Bengaluru, while R. Premadasa Stadium and Colombo Cricket Club ground will host the games in Colombo.

The schedule for the Women's World Cup warm-up matches is now available, with all teams, except Australia Women, set to play two matches each. Australia Women, on the other hand, will play only a single game.

An additional India A Women's side has been added for the warm-ups, where they will be playing their only match against the New Zealand Women's side. A total of 8 warm-up matches will be played beginning on September 25th, while the last leg of the games will be played on September 28th.
