It was a thrilling victory for the Gujarat Titans (GT) on the second last delivery of the game against Punjab Kings (PBKS) as Rahul Tewatia saved his side from two consecutive embarrassments. The game was turned after the run-rate dropped in the last few overs because of which they couldn't finish the match early.

Looking at this, skipper Hardik Pandya wasn't really satisfied with how the things panned out in the end for his side. He expressed that he isn't a fan of match going to the last over. Further, according to him , it should have been finished a few overs earlier.

Pandya also credited IPL returnee Mohit Sharma for his performance which he achieved because of pure hard work. The skipper of the defending champions wasn't really impressed with how they took it to the end as it would have been a little difficult if they were on the other side.

"To be very honest, I wouldn't appreciate the game going this close. This is the beauty of the sport. The game is not over until it's all over. We have to get to the drawing board and make sure that games don't go this close.

Credit to Mohit. It's all hard work. He was with us last year and kept believing in himself and knew that his time will come. It would have been a tough pill to swallow if we had finished on the losing side tonight. I would like to finish the game early and I'm not a fan of taking the game to the last over."

Hardik's Titans will next be seen playing against Rajasthan Royals on 16th April at Narendra Modi Stadium.
