On Sunday, Pakistan Shaheens became the champions of the Rising Stars Asia Cup 2025 after a thrilling final against Bangladesh A at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar. 

The match went down to the wire and was eventually decided in a Super Over, making it one of the most exciting encounters of the tournament.

So, how much money did Pakistan Shaheens win after beating Bangladesh? Let’s take a look.

Pakistan Shaheens are set to receive USD 20, 000 for winning the tournament. In Indian currency, the amount equals ₹17, 85, 201, and in Pakistan currency, it totals PKR 56, 49, 378.

Who won the Player of the Tournament and Player of the Match awards?

Maaz Sadaqat was named Player of the Tournament for his outstanding performance. He scored 258 runs in 5 innings and took 7 wickets in 4 innings, maintaining an impressive economy rate of 4.33.

Ahmed Daniyal received the Player of the Match award in the final for taking 2 wickets during the match and 2 crucial wickets in the Super Over, sealing Pakistan’s famous won.

After winning the toss, Pakistan decided to bowl first. Bangladesh bowled exceptionally well and restricted Pakistan to just 125 runs in 20 overs. Saad Masood was the top scorer for Pakistan with a valuable 38 runs off 26 balls. 

For Bangladesh, Ripon Mondol stood out with 3 wickets for 25 runs, while Rakibul Hasan supported him with 2 wickets for 16 runs.

While chasing, Bangladesh started well but collapsed to 96/9 by the 18th over. However, tail-enders Abdul Gaffar Saqlain and Ripon Mondol stunned everyone by building a strong 29-run partnership, taking the match to a Super Over. 

For Pakistan, Ahmed Daniyal and Sufiyan Muqeem were excellent with the ball, Daniyal bowled 4 overs for just 11 runs with 2 wickets, while Muqeem claimed 3 wickets for 11 runs.

In the Super Over, Ahmed Daniyal once again displayed his brilliance by dismissing two Bangladesh batters and restricting them to just 6 runs. Pakistan chased the target comfortably in four balls, with Saad Masood and Maaz Sadaqat finishing the job without losing a wicket.

This historic victory secured Pakistan Shaheens their third Rising Stars Asia Cup title, previously known as the Emerging Teams Asia Cup.
