After a long streak of painful heartbreaks, the Pakistan cricket finally lived in the moment of glory as the Pakistan Shaheens lifted the first-ever Asia Cup Rising Star title. Continuing their exceptional form, they defeated Bangladesh A in the final and unlocked the long-awaited momentum.

Being presented in the match, ACC Chairman Mohsin Naqvi presented the trophy to the winners, and the moment grabbed attention. While India’s Asia Cup trophy saga continues to stir chatter, Pakistan Shaheens received the silverware from Naqvi.

But the recently ended Asia Cup Rising Stars saw a different side of it. With India A bowing out in the semifinals, Pakistan Shaheens marched into the final against Bangladesh A and stormed to the title. 

Even after Pakistan ended the Asia Cup campaign with a heartbreak, the Pakistan Shaheens healed the wound with a magnificent victory in the Asia Cup Rising Stars. Shaheens edge past Bangladesh A in a dramatic Super Over finish

As the senior Pakistan side is struggling to dominate the global tournaments, Pakistan Shaheens showcased their domination on the big stage of the Asia Cup Rising Stars. Batting first, the Pakistani side faced some woes as they ended up putting on a total of 125 runs. But their bowling brilliance turned the match into a thriller.

Defending the low total was a hard task, and the bowlers showcased their skills. With Sufiyan Muqeem’s three crucial scalps, Arafat Minhas and Ahmed Daniyal kept the domination alive. Yet against all odds, Bangladesh’s batters fought back fiercely and dragged the game to 125, refusing to go down without a fight.

It was a tie, and Doha berthed in excitement. The Super-Over drama soared high as Bangladesh A lost two wickets, setting a target of seven for the opponent. The victory was just inches away from Pakistan as they chased doen the totyal in just four deliveries and lifted the maiden Asia Cup Rising Stars Trophy.
