The much-awaited Hong Kong Sixes tournament will start on November 7, 2025. This year, 12 teams will compete in the fast-paced six-player-a-side event.

The tournament will begin with a group stage where teams will play against each other once in a round-robin format. The top two teams from each group will move forward to the quarterfinals. After the group stage, the competition will become a knockout format, with single matches deciding who advances. 

Teams that do not make it to the main knockout stage will play in separate bowl and plate matches to decide their final rankings. Having said all this, in this article, let's take a look at all the important information about the tournament.   

How many teams will participate in Hong Kong Sixes 2025?

In the Hong Kong Sixes 2025, 12 teams will participate in this year's edition.

Pool A: South Africa, Afghanistan, Nepal

Pool B: Australia, England, UAE

Pool C: India, Pakistan, Kuwait

Pool D: Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Hong Kong (China)
