Fans Bite Back At Babar, Rizwan After Hasan Nawaz’s Ton
In response, Pakistan's batting unit finally clicked, with Hasan Nawaz stealing the show with a stunning hundred, demolishing the Kiwi bowling attack and helping his team register a much-needed win.
Coming off back-to-back ducks, Nawaz didn’t change his approach and took Kiwi bowlers to the cleaners with his aggressive intent. He slammed 105* runs off just 45 balls, including 10 fours and 7 sixes to guide his team home to a thumping nine-wicket win.
Meanwhile, fans began to compare Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan to Hasan Nawaz to troll the senior duo’s sluggish approach.
"Babar fans bring up his centuries on 50 balls while chasing 200 in 18 overs. Hasan Nawaz just chased 204 in 16 overs and scored a 44 balls hundred. Shame on Babar Azam for wasting so many balls to get his 100." - @SaadonaBreak3
"Safe to say Hasan Nawaz has already played a bigger T20 knock in his third match than Rizwan and Babar ever could in their years long career." - @K4anSh3r
"With this century, Hasan Nawaz has put a full stop to the T20 careers of both Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. What a player." - @thepctarmy0
"Rizwan and Babar, in their wildest dreams, can't play innings like what Hassan Nawaz played today that too in his 3rd game unbelievable." - @MalikSahaab_001
"Hassan Nawaz finished Babar Azam T20 Career on his just 3rd T20 match, TAKE A BOW LAD." - @YrrrFahad_
That being said, despite trailing 0-2 in the series after back-to-back losses, this emphatic performance keeps Pakistan alive in the contest, setting up an exciting finish in the remaining two games.
