India's premier keeper-batter Richa Ghosh put up an excellent batting performance in their ongoing Women's Asia Cup clash against the United Arab Emirates. 

After India lost four crucial wickets inside 12 overs, Richa played an aggressive counterattacking knock to help her side claim the driving seat.

After being put into bat, India had a shaky start to their innings, losing in-form opener Smriti Mandhana cheaply for 13 runs. 

Although Shafali Verma played a belligerent cameo, her dismissal opened the floodgates for India Women, who further went on to lose the prized wickets of Dayalan Hemalatha and Jemimah Rodrigues. 

However, Richa's counterattacking innings helped India recover, as she formed a brilliant consolidating stand with skipper Harmanpreet Kaur. 

The swashbuckling keeper-batter took a particular liking for the UAE's spinner Esha Rohit Oza, whom he smacked for three consecutive boundaries in the 15th over. 

As Oza started with a wide delivery outside the off stump, Richa cut the ball for four through the off side. The off-spinner responded with a full-length ball, which Richa drove effortlessly for a boundary. 

The third boundary came in the leg side as the keeper-batter pulled the spinner's short ball through the deep mid-wicket boundary. 

Riding on the scintillating stand between Richa and Harman, India Women finished their innings on a whopping 201/5 in 20 overs.
