Haris Rauf is currently playing for San Francisco Unicorns in the Major League Cricket and has been in great form. He started off the season with a three-fer and has picked nine wickets in total, staying true to his tag of a genuine wicket-taker.
In the sixth match of the season against MI New York, the bowler again bowled with great intensity and decided to give a feel of it to the batter as well on the final ball of the 15th over. Rauf bowled a good five balls in that over and had a wicket of Michael Bracewell on the third delivery. The new batter, Tajinder Singh, then faced two dot balls, and Rauf decided to fire in a yorker on the last delivery.
Haris Rauf Shows His Class Amidst Light Dose Of Aggression
The right-handed batter, Tajinder, tried to work it towards the leg side but missed it, and the ball rolled back to the bowler. Haris Rauf quickly picked up the ball and threatened to throw it back to Tajinder. The action for a few seconds, looked like an aggressive act, but it was all done in good spirit. The batter and Haris Rauf immediately shared a light moment, and then the Pakistan bowler walked off to his mark with a big smile.
The two came against each other in the penultimate over of the innings again, and Tajinder Singh managed to find a boundary off the first ball. The Pakistan superstar, though, came back with a bang, and he removed Tajinder on the very next ball.
Rauf's efforts helped San Francisco restrict MI New York to 182 as he gave away just 24 runs in his four overs along with two wickets. In the second half, SFU chased down the target in the final over with Rauf contributing unbeaten 10 runs, making it three wins in a row.
