Gujarat Upto the Task; Calls Shubman Gill In Place of Mohit Sharma For Chase

After conceding 179 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Gujarat Titans (GT) have called in Shubman Gill to replace medium pacer Mohit Sharma as an impact player for the remainder of game.

Gill has been in fine form with 284 runs so far in seven games at a strike rate of about 140 with three half-centuries to his name in this edition.

Mohit got to bowl just one over where he gave away 12 runs without any success. However, he has bowled well in the past few games winning them one match in the final over. In five matches, the right-armer has picked six wickets at an economy of below 7.
